About me

Grand Opening Rough Records: 6/3/25, 8PM
I’m Bianca Enache, a designer currently based in the Netherlands.

I was raised in the countryside of Romania and have since moved to Sweden, Finland, and the Netherlands. After high school I had this ambition to pursue my bachelor's degrees in Sweden, and a master's degree seemed like the next logical step. During my bachelor's degree, I also had the chance to spend a semester abroad in Finland, where I studied game development at Metropolia University in Helsinki. Throughout these years, academia turned into a space where I could clearly see my progress in creative, design and critical thinking year after year.

Toward the end of my studies, I wrote two theses with my amazing colleague, one for my bachelor's and one for my master's. Seeing them in their final form and published really brought to me a sense of satisfaction that I was getting from research, whether I was involved in it or I was just reading it. Even if at times it was difficult to design a methodology and dig through countless papers, I really enjoyed seeing things come together and getting the chance to analyse both qualitative and quantitative data. If you're interested, you can read my work here and here.

Outside of design and research, ironically, I enjoy detaching from technology and get mesmerised by nature through hiking or discovering new areas. Like any person, I also like relaxing with a good movie or game or getting lost in a crochet project.
